Our Everyday Hero for January has shown kindness and developed sincere friendships with other students who were struggling with peers.  Through simple gestures such as sitting next to students, keeping them on task in class or away from negative interactions, this student has embodied the term “Upstander”.  Without making a scene or seeking attention, this student stands up for fellow classmates when they need it most.  According to one of his teachers, “He has a kind and understanding heart and compassion toward other students that is above and beyond anything I have witnessed here in my years as a teacher”.  Congratulations to our January Everyday Hero, Andrew Browne.

Andrew will be receiving a gift certificate from Nicoletta Pizzeria in Bernardsville in recognition of this accomplishment.
