Claire is a senior and Editor-In-Chief for the Crimson. This is her third year being part of the Crimson and she is excited to lead the staff. Outside of school she plays tennis and rugby, bakes, and spends time with her family.

Board of Education approves improvements to baseball and softball fields

For the 2024-2025 spring baseball and softball seasons, the Somerset Hills Board of Education has approved improvements to be made to Bernards High School’s lower fields. This approval comes after years of the fields constantly being oversaturated from weather, having holes and uneven spots, and poorly draining. This approval also aligns with the Board of Education's goals for students to use the fields for PE classes.

Therapy Dogs return to BHS for the first time this school year

Therapy dogs returned on October  22, 2024, in the Community Room at BHS. This is the fifth year therapy dogs have been part of the BHS family. The Guidance Department partners with Creature Comfort, a nonprofit organization, based in Madison, NJ to bring in creatures of all sizes. The dogs give a well-deserved break to students and staff during both lunch blocks every other month.
