Andee Costabile is the embodiment of an Everyday Hero. As the captain of the BHS girls’ soccer team, she leads with both skill and commitment, setting an inspiring example for her teammates. But Andee’s impact extends far beyond the soccer field or even the classroom, where she also excels. A student council officer, she immerses herself in the culture and climate at Bernards at every turn. She is deeply committed to fostering a feeling of inclusion, always looking for ways to make her peers feel welcomed and valued. She can be seen at any school dance, pulling all of her peers onto the dance floor–even those she has never met. Every new person she meets becomes a friend to Andee, and her frequent “Hello, Sunshine!”s make smiles happen through the halls every single day. Andee feels with her whole heart at all times and makes the world a better place as a result.
