Apple launches new products

Apple+launches+new+products

Every year, the well-renowned technology company, Apple, holds an event announcing new and upgraded products. In a year like no other, they continued this tradition.

In April, Apple held a virtual “Spring Loaded” event which was full of exciting and long-waited announcements.

Apple’s most exciting product launch was the new iPad Pro. According to USA Today, it is “75% faster than the original iPad.” In a society that relies on efficiency, this increase in speed is a huge motive for a buyer. Additionally, the screen will improve with mini-LEDs. Apple states that these LEDs will allow viewers to experience “more true to life details.” To top things off, the new iPad will include studio mics, motion tracking, and an upgraded camera system.

Another new product launched was Air Tags. These are small gadgets that attach to belongings such as keys, backpacks, or wallets. If one loses an item, the Air Tags use a feature called “Precision Tracking” to guide the owner with an arrow to the location of their belongings.

This Precision Tracking feature is an addition to the “Find My” app which currently assists people in finding their Air Pods and iPhone. In addition to these features, Apple is allowing buyers to customize the tags. Customers can add engravings, including text and emojis.

Apple continued its exciting news by announcing the new iMac, the desktop version of a Macbook. Apple stated that the new iMac features “a much more compact and remarkably thin design.” However, this thin design doesn’t mean it’s less powerful. With an upgraded camera, a six-speaker sound system, and quality mics, this desktop is perfect for any person working from home.

Perhaps the most enticing feature of the iMac is the availability of a wide array of colors: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. These colors allow buyers to brighten up any space in their homes.

Finally, Apple announced that their most recent phone, the iPhone 12, will now be available in purple! Apple’s senior vice president, Greg Joswiak, stated, “The new purple finish,  just in time for spring, adds another bright and fun option to the lineup, and we think customers are going to love it.”

Apple’s trade-in policy that allows customers to recycle their old technology for credit towards a new product will entice many customers to buy Apple’s new products. Ultimately, the technology company expresses that they are updating their website because they foresee great sales in the near future!
