Crimson Staff Senior Summer Schnabolk: Features Editor

Q: What made you join journalism?
A: I wanted to improve my writing so I took the class my junior year and really enjoyed it.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about journalism?
A: My favorite thing is that you are able to be creative with both the articles and layout as an editor.
Q: What has been your favorite article you have written?
A: My favorite article would be the articles I wrote about our ski team. Not many people know we have a ski team and writing about it allows me to share our accomplishments with the school.
Q: Are you pursuing journalism after high school?
A: No, i’m not currently planning on it.
Q: Why did you choose to be an features editor?
A: I chose to be a features editor because it allows me to learn more about my classmates hobbies and interests.
Q: What are your plans for after high school?
A: I will be studying marketing at Tulane University.
Q: How has journalism helped you as a student?
A: It allowed me to meet new people and learn more about our school.
Q: What advice would you give first year journalism students?
A: Write articles for every section in the beginning, so you can learn what you like and don’t like to write about.
