Q: What made you join journalism?
A: have always loved writing. English was always my favorite subject and I wanted to try another style of writing and reporting.
Q: Why did you choose to be an news editor?
A: I have become very passionate about the newspaper. I love writing and I care about the news we relay.
Q: What are your plans for after high school?
A: I am attending University of Michigan. I will most likely be majoring in economics on a path to get my MBA.
Q: How has journalism helped you as a student?
A: It has helped me become so much more aware and involved with my community.
Q: What advice would you give first year journalism students?
A: Research and write about topics you are passionate about.
Q: How did you become an editor in chief?
A: I stayed consistent and involved in journalism. I moved from intro, to J1, to J2, to honors publications. As I have reached the highest level, I took on the role.
