What are your preferred pre-game, locker room and post-game routines?

  • Stretching, running, talking/motivating the team and my specific epee squad.

What do you enjoy most about playing ?

  • Having a tight knit group of friends with similar interests.

Will you be playing in the future?

  • Yes, I will be fencing in college, most likely club, but possibly on a school team.

If you have looked into playing after high school, what was your commitment process like?

  • I went online to research college team fencing teams/clubs. I looked into taking more aggressive private lessons and going to clubs during and after the season.

What position do you play?

  • Epee

Do you have a leadership position?

  • I am not captain, but Squad leader. This is a lower leadership position but still has the difficulties of organizing people, but it is still fun.

How long have you been playing varsity?

  • 4 years

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of sports?

  • Yes, Some hobbies include sketching, designing and painting. Playing video games, such as Battlefront 1 & 2, Battlefield, and Wii Sports Resort.

What have been your major highlights/achievements in athletics?

  • Receiving the Academic athletic award all three years, getting very prestigious awards all three years. And the time I won a meet for the boys team last year, which was down to the last few seconds and the final score, for me, was 5 to 3 but for the team 15 to 14.

What would be a successful season of athletics for you?

  • Getting into states and having fun with the team
