How long have you been playing?

  • Since my Sophomore year.

 

What are your high school career stats?

  • My 1600 PR is 6:21, 13:50 3200, 6 foot Pole Vault

 

What are your preferred pre-game, locker room and post-game routines?

  • I like to make my hair look really nice for races- “Fast Hair”= fast race.

 

 What do you enjoy most about playing?

  • I like seeing concrete improvement with every PR.

 

Will you be playing in the future?

  • I want to keep running on my own, but I’m not going to run for college.

 

If you have looked into playing after high school, what was your commitment process like?

  • I’m not looking to play in college.

 

What position do you play?

  • Distance

 

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of sports?

  • I play the clarinet in Concert Band, and I’m going to be in the Pit Orchestra for the musical.

 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gained from your coaches?

  • “Big Hands, Fast Arms, High Knees”

 

What is the one thing you always do after a good performance?

  • Eat!

 

What have been your major highlights/achievements in athletics?

  • I’m not the fastest, but I didn’t start running track until my sophomore year, and I didn’t start running distance events until last spring- I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far!

 

What would be a successful season of athletics for you?

  • I want to break 6 minutes in the 1600 hopefully this season, but if not, during spring track!
