In response to a slow start to the season, quarterback and team captain Lofton Hoover is looking to turn this season around. Hoover rushed 90 yards, threw 53 yards, and scored a touchdown in Bernards’ first home game against Shabazz on September 1st. In the coming games, Hoover will continue to look for exploits to find holes and open receivers, and result in game-winning touchdowns. Lofton Hoover serves as a role model for his team and an important figure to younger teammates in search of guidance. Hoover will continue to try to lead his team out of their ditch this football season and end his last year strong.
