Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man and other marvels super heroes will be returning to theaters May 1 in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Clint Barton will reprise their roles from the previous Avengers. They were last seen when Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson recruits Ironman, Captain America, Black Widow, the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and Hawkeye and makes a team to stop the super villain Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston.
In Avengers 2: Age of Ultron there is a new villain, Ultron who Tony Starks creates in order to help make peace throughout the world. His plan backfired and Ultron’s enemy is now all humans. He sets out to eliminate them from Earth. The Avengers assemble to stop Ultron.
There will be two new superheros, Quicksilver, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen. Quicksilver appeared in X Men: Days of Future Past, but he will not be played by the same actor. Both superheros appeared in the last few seconds of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. These superheros mess with the Avengers and distract them from their mission.
There’s another new character, named Vision, played by Paul Bettany. He is an android who was made by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. In the process of making Vision, Tony Stark destroyed his other artificially intelligent caretaker, J.A.R.V.I.S. Vision will work with the Avengers to stop the siblings and Ultron.
Junior Sophia Elkotni is very excited to see Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. She really liked the first Avengers film. She said, “It was good and had a lot of action.” Sophia is thrilled to see Quicksilver in this movie. She said “I LOVE QUICKSILVER! I am glad that he will have a larger role in the next Avenger movie.” Freshman Taylor Kahn said she liked the Avengers, but she is not sure if she will see the second movie.
