Tate Mcrae’s Miss Possessive world tour is a hit

There were many memorable concerts during the year 2025, one of those being Tate McRae’s Miss Possessive world tour. The tour kicked off in mid-March, starting in Mexico City, Mexico, and is coming to a close on November 8th, 2025, in Inglewood, California. McRae’s Miss Possessive tour will be her third tour, following her Are We Flying tour, which was in 2023, and her Think Later world tour in 2024.

The concert begins with an opener; McRae had three for her tour. Her initial shows in North America opened with Alessi Rose. She was then followed by BENEE, who opened for Mcrae during the UK and European parts of the tour. When the tour came back to North America, the show started off with a performance from Zara Larsson.

When asked about the opener for the Madison Square Garden show, Ryan Fitzpatrick ‘28 said, “I loved [Zara Larsson], she’s so good.”

The tour duration spans around an hour and a half, including numerous songs from her So Close To What album, and other staple songs from her other albums like “Greedy” and “She’s All I Wanna Be”. “Purple Lace Bra was [my] favorite song to hear live,” says Lexa Papariello ‘28. Fans went especially crazy when she played some of her old songs like “You Broke Me First” and “Chaotic”.

The So Close To What album had many hits, and eleven of McRae’s songs from the album held spots on Billboard’s Hot 100. “Sport’s Car”, “Revolving Door”, and “It’s OK I’m OK” are the most notable songs that landed on Billboard’s chart. McRae also recently won a VMA for her song “Just Keep Watching”, which was featured in the F1 movie.

When Tate McRae announced her tour last year, she originally had around 50 dates for the tour. However, after selling out in multiple areas in cities such as New York, Vancouver, and Baltimore, she added about 20 more shows to her tour.

Her tours being sold out made sense as her performances and concerts are electric and captivating. From her energetic dancing on stage to her astonishing vocals, McRae can entertain her audience and make it an unforgettable experience for them. Her passion for music is undeniable as she pours her heart out every time she sings and incorporates intricate dance routines for each of the songs. Her routines involve very skilled background dancers who contribute to making the night great for the crowd.

The stage effects also played a key role in the concert’s remarkable features. From the fire to the smoke, the crowd was blown away by how much flair McRae put into her shows. Fans were screaming from all corners of the arena, every song sung by thousands.

Fitzpatrick ‘28 said, “[The concert] was awesome, [it is] probably in my top three concerts, and [the show] was very different [from] other concerts you would see.”

Many fans come to the concert decked out in a range of different styles. From jerseys to leopard prints and vibrant colors, trying to mimic McRae’s style.

As Tate McRae is coming close to wrapping up her third tour, she has become bigger than ever, and fans can’t wait to see what she has planned next.
