London terror attack March 22nd

On March 22, one of the most brutal attacks in the UK occurred in Westminster, London. The attack only lasted 82 seconds.  Khalid Masood, the 52 year old murderer from Kent England, was shot dead after driving his car 76 miles per hour into over 50 pedestrians walking on the Westminster Bridge. One woman was knocked over the bridge into the river Thames but luckily rescued by a crew of City Cruisers.  After driving across the bridge, Khalid got out of his car and ran to New Palace Yard where he stabbed an unarmed police officer.  

Michael Fallon, an armed policeman, witnessed the stabbing and shot Khalid multiple times. The criminal killed four people but injured more than 50. One of the people killed was an American. Kurt Cochran was from Utah was in London with his wife celebrating their 25th anniversary.  His wife was injured. Keith Palme the police officer who had been stabbed died of his injuries. He had been on duty with the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection command. Keith was a well respected officer with the Metropolitan Police Service for 15 years.  Aysha Frad was a school teacher who had been walking across the bridge when she was struck by the car and died. The last victim was Leslie Rhodes a 75 year old Londan male. He died while in the hospital when his life support was turned off.
By age 18, Khalid Masood was a heavy drug user. He had been sentenced to two years in prison for a knife attack in 2000. Three years later he was sentenced for six more months in prison for possession of a weapon. From 2005-2006 he was a english teacher in Saudi Arabia. While he Saudi Arabia he was not recorded for having any criminal record. The Scotland Yard, the territorial police force in London, claimed Khalids attack was ïnternational terrorism.” Police are trying to figure out whether Khalids attack was inspired by others and he was directed on what to do. Senior Sarah Burrell said ¨This world is so broken that this could potentially happen anywhere, even in Bernardsville New Jersey. I just want to know how much longer can will go on for and if countries will ever unite and get along.”
